Blueprints contain the plans needed to construct items, they contain a list of the needed parts and the required TL for the construction of said item.
Creating an Blueprint
When you put an Research Tool, an Item and an Empty Datacube into the process window (F7) and push start, you will create an Blueprint of the Item. (Note, you need the Research subskill and in some cases Research Substance for this)
