Lorcan is the initial NPC to talk to in order to start the mission chain in the start MC5 area. He is at the bottom of the ramp as you leave the main building.
His mission involves finding 3 tubes of the chemical Solantium and once complete he will advise you to talk to Ezra. Ezra can be found further into the clearing, next to a tree which has a crashed glider within it.
