Needs Work
- This welcome message needs work, ive done a basic one for the moment, but I think we should aim for a nice flashy one with an image or something to make their user talk page look nice and welcoming! Delphi (talk) (contr) 14:32, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Spambots
Currently we have a spambot problem. I've put in a possible counter-measure to stop the bots from activating their accounts, but I've yet to figure a way to stop them from registering in the first place, as the CAPTCHA has been cracked by the bots.
However when a new user is created, it adds a the NewUserMessage to their talk page. So to keep the overhead on admin down when cleaning up, I've removed this page. It will be restored once the current bot-wave is killed off. --Brammers 16:55, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
