The TLDR; Version

You want edit the Wiki? Just log in with your THN account details, which is the same username and password to login at the THN Forums, Items DB and Rares DB.

The slightly longer version

Before the user merge, to access all of the THN resources you needed to have 2 accounts.

• THN account - This give you access to the THN Forums, Items DB and Rares DB.
• Wiki account - This gave you access to the Wiki only.

What we did was matched the accounts against usernames and emails. In most cases there was a clear match, so your account was merge. To access the Wiki and edit the pages, just use your THN account details. If your username on the Wiki was different to your THN account username, then your Wiki username has been changed to be your THN account Username.

If your password was different between your THN account and Wiki Account, you should now use your THN account password.

If you lost your password, you can recover it at the THN Forums.

How did we match the THN accounts to the Wiki

A tool was written to match usernames and emails, so a clear migration strategy could be developed.

• To simplify the process we removed any wiki accounts that had no contributions to the wiki.
• Then we matched users by email address and username. If there was a clear match, these accounts were linked and no further changes made. This is the case for 80% of the active wiki users.
• If we had a partial match with the email address only, the Wiki account username was changed to match the THN account username. This affected about 25 users.
• If we had a partial match with the username only, these accounts reviewed to avoid the possibility of linking 2 different account. In most cases the differences in email addresses was minor or linking the account low risk based on the contributions to the Wiki. After the review, these accounts were linked. This affected about 25 users.
• In 2 odd cases, we found multiple accounts with mis-matched emails. In these 2 cases, the accounts were reviewed and emails on the wiki were updated to match the THN username or the user was renamed on the wiki.
• A few cases had no clear link between the THN account and Wiki account. Rather than loose the contributions we have created THN accounts for those users.
• Sadly a few users on the Wiki had no email address registered and we could not identify any THN accounts to link them. We did manage to identify a few owners, but there are 4 ghost accounts as a result. The THN will do it's best to allow access to these accounts should the owners contact us.
