Dungeons are zones full of [[:Category:Hostile NPC's|Mobs]], which are necessary for quests (such as the [[Juggernaut Facility]], [[Gaya Mines]]), or very good for [[leveling]] ([[Chaos Caves]], [[El Farid]]), or a good source of rare items ([[Ceres Labs|Ceres Biomechanial Laboratories]]) - sometimes all three ([[Regants Legacy]]). They are scattered throughout the [[wastelands]] and the [[:Category:Cities|Cities]]. Typically the inner city dungeons contain lower level mobs and designed solely to help new runners level, the wasteland dungeons designed for leveling and completing quests.

Neocron dungeons are not [[instance|instanced]] - meaning that there is no control over who is in the dungeon at any one time, and there can often be a fight for the hunting priviledges of the dungeon.
