Official description

"To give yourself into immediate danger is a thing of the past" is what the riggers say. The rigger is specialised to operate UAVS (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and is so fighting in the field by remote. But if he is discovered in his hiding the end will come soon, because being concentrated on his UAV he is defenceless, so he has to rely on camouflage as much as possible. Spies and Private Eyes dominate this domain.

Job

Droners control armed drones to fight enemies instead of going into fight themselves. Drones does not use any ammo, instead, they have a battery that fuels their weapons. Drones are quite durable and you can use some of the battery reserve to heal the drone. The drawback of droning is that the user is completely defenceless when controlling the drone - cannot move or use items. Also drones cannot pickup loot. Because of inability to move while droning, drones are not widely used in pvp. You can harass some players while hiding but when you are discovered you are as good as dead. In pve, drones are considered the best method of leveling INT, due to many AoE options, cheap maintenance and virtually zero risk to the user.

Secondary Skills: Willpower (WPL), Hacking (HCK), Repair (REP)

Note: Weapon Lore is useless for droning, it has no effect.

Bugs

Low-level Gatlin drones are bugged and do very little damage with the reticle closing only very close to the enemy. Drone dps starts from TL-17 Laser Drone.
