Public Test Server
What is the Public Test Server?
It gives us the possibility to test new features such as new missions, balancing and many other things.
Also will it give us the opportunity to test out different build and Guns. Lots of guns.
Access the Public Test Server by installing one extra client using the Launcher.
The NeoConstruct
What is the NeoConstruct?
Imagine yourself as a child, getting the keys to the largest toy store in the world, and you have unlimited money, and it has the largest candy section you have ever seen.
That is the NeoConstruct.
You will find almost all the items in the game in there, including XP.
When you start a new character you will start at MC5 as normal, but in there you will find a portal to the NeoConstruct.
There are portals in Plaza 1 as well to get you back to the NeoConstruct.
Obtaining XP
Gaining XP can be done in 2 ways, the hard way by leveling your runner the old-fashioned way.
Or, do the Super Hard Mission.
In the NeoConstruct there is a portal to the Ceres Temple. In the temple, you will have the super hard mission guy, talk to him and complete his quest to gain a bit of XP.
Obtaining Money
To ensure runners feel like a child in a toy store, we have the Money Guy in NeoConstruct.
Talk to him to gain some credits.
Tradeskilling
Since there are not that many runners on the PTS, there is a special drug that will give you 255 in all tradeskills.
This will ensure that you can poke yourself for example.
Items
All items from vendors in NeoConstruct have always capped quality, sometimes with an empty slot. If you don't want that, you can always build the items yourself making a bp and constructing with Tradeskilling drug. Speaking with Rareparts NPC by the CityCom will grant you unressed tech parts if you want custom-built rare items.

The shooting range
The pvp enabled place to test your weapon damage and setups. To access it, speak to the 'To Shootingrange' guy in Tank PA, next to Epic Master and Hacknet Stuff vendor.
Testing dummies
A bunch of NPCs you can test your damage output. Those NPCs have no damage resistances but a huge amount of health. NPCs don't fight back. Most of Test Biatches are rank 127, but there are a bunch of lower rank ones next to Supply Depot. Behind the wall you can find a bunch of them close together so you can check your AoE weaponry.
Holomatch consoles
Consoles borrowed from Neofrag. Weapon Refresh provides couple packs of ammo. If you use ammo mod on your weapon, the ammo provided by the console will be the current ammo loaded into the weapon. Heal console heals the character, same way you would use Recreation Unit or medkits.
Shooting range
A bunch of testing dummies, spaced evenly every 100 in-game meters. You can test reticle closing speed or accuracy from different distances.
Supply depot
Same set of vendors like in Neoconstruct, but limited only to weapons, drugs and ammo.
Multifarious gun
A special rifle to visually test your damage or resistances. When equipped with about 80 R-C it should deal exactly 100 damage with 3 damage types (Amount of R-C to cap depends on your DEX). The gun can be modded for the other 3 damage types with the converter provided in the crate. If the crate is empty, ask a GM to refill it.
