PvP is often taken too seriously and in bad humor in Neocron, and as such, a detailed and chaotic system of etiquette is informally in place. There are several popular terms that describe such breaches of etiquette, but also often as a bad excuse of sore losers.

Zone whoring

A term used when a person "hugs" a zone entrance, and sync out at the feeling of starting losing the fight, usually zoning to safe zone to heal up. Commonly seen as cowardly act, instead of using the map geometry to obstruct enemy fire.

Stealth whoring

Similar to zone whoring, stealth whoring is abusing Stealth Tool to constantly disengage and harass the attacker. Because stealth has only a few methods of counterplay, it is very annoying to fight the blinking enemy but at the same time attacker cannot fire when using stealth.

Ally ganking

Basically shooting at the back of members of your faction while doing seemingly harmless stuff, like teaming for some mission or relogging to opposite faction character when pinning down the location of the ally in some level area.

Zerging

Overwhelming the opponent by sheer numbers of uncoordinated players.

Clipping

Using advantage of Neocron brilliant collision detection and clipping into geometry completely blocking non-aoe fire.

Noob killing

Killing waaay lower-ranked players that have no chance of fighting back.

Ninja hacking

Capturing the Outpost on some ungodly hours when opposition is not even logged in
