== Description ==
[[Tangent Technologies]] Inc. (Tangent) is the main weapons developer / manufacturer in the city of Neocron. Originally an internal division of BioTech Industries (BioTech), Tangent broke from it's parent company in 2746. It's focus on the research and development of arms provided such quality that CityAdmin uses Tangent weapons to arm their CopBot squads. The Tangent culture clearly revolves around personal safety and security. Their motto, “In guns we trust”, is really the perfect descriptor.


== Headquarters ==

The Tangent Technologies headquarters can be found in Viarosso Sector 2, nearby the zone line for Viarosso Sector 3. Like every HQ, it has two guards outside the main entrance, it also has some Goguardians  and a Yo's Pawn Shop neaby. The HQ consists of 4 floors: 

Ground - Entrance and reception,
1st Floor - Main Office (Human Resource Directors)
2nd Floor - Supply Depot/Genrep/Medicare (Faction Supply Mangaers)
3rd Floor - Chez Cypher Restraunt



The Gogo's, Citycom's and Genrep are all situated on the Supply Depot floor, you can also buy chemicals, tools and itemparts from the supply depot vendors.

== Faction Supply Manager (FSM) ==
To buy the speacilist items off the FSM you need a Tangent Technologies Sympathy of 90 or above. There are 4 faction supply managers in the Tangent Tech HQ and they are situated at the back of the supply depots, each depot has two FSM's. The Tangent FSM's sell:

Weaponparts 1 - 7,
Hacknet Item Parts,
TL 90/100 Datacubes,
Tangent Tech Construction Licenses,
All level 3 Eye Implants,
Tangent Tech Clan keys (Furnished and Unfurnished)

== Faction Data Base (FDB) ==

The Tangent FDB is located at the end of a trail of heavily guarded rooms in the Tangent DNS (Hacknet). You can get there by hacking a Genrep and heading from your factions DNS to Tangents (If your in Tangent you will automatically spawn in the DNS). Once there you will need to speak with one of the databases in the last room, they will give you a choice of blueprints to download, that are specific to the Tangent FBD. To download the blueprnts you must have an unused TL 90 Dataccube in your inventory (Bought From ANY FSM) then choose the blueprint you want (if your not in Tangent then you will require 1 codebreaker to download 1 blueprint). Once you have your bluesprint you will need to get it constructed using the hacknet item parts (Again Bought From ANY FSM), you will also need a construction license from a perticullar factions FSM. For a full list of what parts and construction licenses you need you can right click on the blueprint and show info. Blueprints in the Tangent FDB are:

Mosquito (Drone)- A drone with some kind of special effect.
Special Riggers Interface (Implant) - Fairly high TL implant, wich specializes in drone skills.
Constructor Machina Glove (Implant/Glove) - Glove that improves Construction skill by +15 at the                 expense of combat skills, effect only lasts when the glove is on.
