All useable items in Neocron degrade over time. Their condition (max 120%/120%) show how long they will last. The left digit degrades when you use it (the chat windows notifies you when ever an item is damaged) and when it is almost reaching 0%, it is time to repair your item.
Someone with repair skill can do this where a repair tool will be required, but take in mind that the higher your repair skill, the lesser does the second digit degrade, for the second digit always degrades when you repair it.
Let this be a warning to not repair your items to soon!
