Official description
The assault rifle is a semi-automatic, short to medium range weapon, originally developed by Tangent. It uses 5.56mm standard ammo and can also be converted to use various types of ammunition.

Advantages
- High rate of fire
- TL 6 version can be recycled from common junk
Disadvantages
- Some bullets in burst often miss
- Mediocre damage per bullet, requires all bullets to hit for considerable damage
