The Tech Haven Network has been primarily a English fansite. It has been requested many times for German support for the resources.

It has been decided to provide support for the following languages.

  • English (UK)
  • German

Milestone 1 - Stats DB

Stats DB's. Since the Stats DB project is a new project, support for multiple languages has been designed in from the start by using Symfony 2's translation component via XLIFF files.

Weblate will be used to crowd-source the translation effort.

Milestone 2 - Forums

Support for the THN forums. When forum upgrade happens, we will be installing the required language packs.

Milestone 3 - Item DB

Item DB. When Version 2 is re-written, it will be separated from Joomla and will be a seperate Symfony 2 website, so will use XLIFF files and Weblate.

Milestone 4 - Wiki

To be planned.

Milestone 5 - Main website

To be planned.

Milestone 6 - Rares DB

Needs to be re-written in Symfony 2. Will use XLIFF files and Weblate.
