My question though, is whether these numbers are still relevant, or have been changed in 2.2 (since the original post was dated 2004). The implant skill entry seems a bit off to me, since it's a straight requirement number and even a /20 toon with 115 IMP can do MC5 chips (unless its an IMP speed effect?). Did I miss something?

I am going to have a go at organising this tradeskill portal into a resonable basic page. Further detailed information will be linked from here. I then plan to move on and use the content available and add to it etc. --[admin] Logan Ford • (talk) 12:18, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Barter - Yes, Hacking I say that's a secondary skill/support skill and not a tadeskill. --Brammers 09:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I would also like to see the actual skill formulae used as on [1] for the relevant sections. Most new players (and many Vets) don't have a clue how these are actually calculated at all and it leads Runners to make mistakes in point allocations.
...God knows I made enough mistakes with it...
The formulae are:

 Construction: 0.1(10%) DEX + 0.2(20%) INT + 0.7(70%) CST
 Research: 0.3(30%) INT + 0.7(70%) RES
 Repair: 0.2(20%) DEX + 0.1(10%) INT + 0.7(70%) REP
 Recycle: 0.3(30%) DEX + 0.7(70%) REC
 Hacking: 0.9(90%) HCK + 0.1(10%) RCL
 Implant: 0.2(20%) DEX + 0.3(30%) INT + 0.5(50%) IMP
 Barter: 0.03(3%) INT + 0.35(35%) BRT

My question though, is whether these numbers are still relevant, or have been changed in 2.2 (since the original post was dated 2004). The implant skill entry seems a bit off to me, since it's a straight requirement number and even a /20 toon with 115 IMP can do MC5 chips (unless its an IMP speed effect?). Did I miss something?
