Talk:Resists

Ok, here's what's happening... I'm a programmer trying to explain something I have been messing about with for over a year - this means what I've written is very likely to be very misleading.. I'm also incredibly short on sleep, and am about to crash and burn :D Still, this is a first-stab at explaining something that is often confusing for people, so I hope that the more linguistically adept of us can help put this into more readable terms :p --StevenJ 08:56, 2 May 2008 (BST)

LOL! I know it's a daft word, but I would stick with the names of items ingame. Also the order of the resists, you got Con, Armour and shields. Would it be better as Shields (1st layer), Armour (2nd layer) and Con (3rd layer)? --Brammers 10:09, 2 May 2008 (BST)

• Was a little confused there, until I realised shields-armour-con makes more sense in picturing incoming damage... With a clearer head I'll re-wite large chunks of this tonight - I also forgot to mention drugs and psi resist boosters. --StevenJ 18:10, 2 May 2008 (BST)
