The User: pages should be off limits to sysops unless it is breaking some rules (A little side note, normal users can't edit other user pages)

If an admin wants to suggest a user should add a line or two about himself, IMHO the user_talk: pages are the place for that, but adding content on mass to those pages should be done with care, maybe checking with Delphi before going ahead.

Proposal

  • Only the owner of the userspace should edit their own page - unless a Sysop deams it necessary to conform with the rules.

Reason

This is to stop the spammage of "Here is a red page - please add to it" by members of the community (I am also guilty of it)

If an admin wants to suggest a user should add a line or two about himself, IMHO the user_talk: pages are the place for that, but adding content on mass to those pages should be done with care, maybe checking with Delphi before going ahead.
