A Tech part is used to create weapons, they first need to be researched by a high level researcher to determine which part of which item it actually is, then if the owner collects all seperate parts, depending on the techlevel: hull, frame, comp, core, tech (addtech) and hands them in to a constructor, the constructor will build a competed rare weapon.
