Proposal

• Only the owner of the userspace should edit their own page - unless a Sysop deams it necessary to conform with the rules.

Reason

This is to stop the spammage of "Here is a red page - please add to it" by members of the community (I am also guilty of it)

just to draw from my experience for a moment.
I have never used WIKI before now, i only realised i had my own page to add info to when i was prompted by you delphi to add something! Otherwise it would probably still be a red link.
I don't see the harm in an Admin suggesting you add a line or two about yourself, however i do feel that a user page should not be edited by any others unless in violation of the rules/policies.--_[admin] Logan Ford ^{• (talk)} 20:00, 19 April 2008 (BST) - P.S. My sig is not working :(

The User: pages should be off limits to sysops unless it is breaking some rules (A little side note, normal users can't edit other user pages)

If an admin wants to suggest a user should add a line or two about himself, IMHO the user_talk: pages are the place for that, but adding content on mass to those pages should be done with care, maybe checking with Delphi before going ahead. --Brammers  (t)  (c) 16:08, 20 April 2008 (BST)
