New Rule

The Rule to not promote clans was not implemented when I posted the eXL page. --SiN

  • I understand that - hence why I didnt give you a break, the only reason watts has been banned is due to the pornographic images which were posted to the site, this isnt my webspace it has been kindly donated, so I have to stand by the rules that I am given! The clan rule should have been there - thats an oversight on my part and for that I appologise. If you wish to discuss about the rules regarding clan pages then please talk in Here and we can see what people want! --Delphi 14:40, 18 March 2007 (GMT)

Sysop Policy

  • The sysop policy list is being created to try to stop any problems between sysops and also to govern the way that the wiki works here --Delphi 11:38, 13 November 2006 (GMT)

Expansion Template

The pages for expansion link in the template is a deadlink. Maybe you should getit linking to the category page? I tryed doing it myself but fucked it up and had to rollback to previus version. --Solid Rock 08:18, 15 November 2006 (GMT)

Upgrade time

Ok Delphi, the THN web server is now able to offer PHP5, which means you can run the latest features in that release! If you do want the latest release, the IP will change very slighly, as the PHP4 and PHP5 installs run on seperate Apache instances. Then I'll set asside some time to do the upgrade etc, which will require some downtime. No rush on this. --Brammers 00:03, 29 January 2007 (GMT)

Ok upgrade completed! --Brammers 11:58, 7 April 2007 (BST)

Todays updates

Ok the wiki is now on 1.11.2 which is a small security release related to API access, and also I've fixed the issue where it would not parse wiki tags with item DB commands. Have a look at User_talk:Brammers/Test1 --Brammers 19:18, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

How do you change the featured Picture on the main Page?--Logan Ford 21:33, 2 April 2008 (BST)

Sorry to plagiarise your sig but i liked the look, hope you don't mind? Admin-avatar.png Logan Ford  (t)  (c)

THN API etc

Ok...I wrote a load of stuff and lost it...but yeah the API policy guide is a good idea...remind me again in the morning to read my talk page, had too much wine from watching the football! --Brammers 22:28, 8 April 2008 (BST)

Ok a little more with it today.

Patch notes, I do have a page in THNapi namespace with release notes. I'm not sure what you mean by "patch notes style system"

What I do think will be a good idea is to have a template saying something like "This page has missing icons - the THN admin team will update them soon." that anyone can use to flag up pages with items that don't have icons in them. Then the THN team with access to the Item DB can easily update the items.

As for a general guide, what Logan did on the Ionic weapons talk page was very good, so yeah a API policy/user guide would be a good idea. --Brammers 10:02, 9 April 2008 (BST)

Hello! Could I have a template please, that I can use for new commands for the THN API? I want it to read something like "This command will be updated/release with the next THN API/Item DB update. This means this command won't work just yet!" and also can it be in a category for Unreleased commands. Thanks! --Brammers 00:08, 10 April 2008 (BST)

Welcome Back

Im not sure if your thinking of anything specific but I dont think ive made any major changes to any articles. And I have been watching Talk Pages if they where available. --Solid Rock 13:19, 24 April 2008 (BST)

Mod rewrite changes

Hi, I've updated the .htaccess mod rewrite rules (It's the file that gives us friendly URLS for each article) So that a & symbol can be used in an article. The Archer & Wesson page should be accessable again, but if I've broken anything let me know. --Brammers 19:50, 25 April 2008 (BST)

THN and Wiki logins

I've started a little thread on the forums about THN and Wiki logins - http://forum.techhaven.org/viewtopic.php?t=3014 which I would like you and the rest of the Wiki Admins thoughts on. Could you spam the rest of the active admins talk pages with the link please? Thanks :) --Brammers 23:36, 28 April 2008 (BST)

Idea

I mentioned to Brammers last night, about seeing a page with a list of possible words that can be added to any article and he assured me there is such a page (not found it yet), however I noted today you made new orig_auth, but does not show how it should be added to a page. People are often worried when they do things, incase they muck up. On Informational pages such as orig_auth, is it possible to show it in action - show how to write it into a page, maybe have the list of things that can be added to a page also show next to it, how it should be added to a page? -- Dragonette 14:06, 5 May 2008 (BST)
