History
Hoverbots are massive mechanical robot type devices which were used during the Ceres war. After the destruction of their command center during the war the Hoverbots starting attacking random targets. It is currently unkown whether they have developed a sentience or whether some kind of higher AI is controlling them.
Encounter
Hoverbots will mostly be found in the mountainous and desert regions around Techhaven. They are not a force to be underestimated and any unprepared runner will be in trouble. After destroying a hoverbot the runner will be rewarded by the hoverbot dropping to the ground, this will then be hackable and has been known to contain rare parts.
Be aware that hoverbots do X-ray and Energy damage.
