X-ray

Overview

X-ray is one of the 6 primary damage types within Neocron, prevalent in modded weaponry and high level environments.

PvE considerations

Mobs dealing X-ray damage are very rare, usually from certain robotic enemies and DOY units. All Hacknet mobs deal some X-ray damage.

PvP considerations

X-ray damage is very rare, but a lot of weapons can be modded for it, especially lowtech. Usually second to last priority resist to cap.

Weapon families dealing X-ray damage

• Raygun rifle, pistol, cannon
• Rapture
• Rhino RG gunner seat weapon
• Raygun and ion drones

Weapon modding

Most lowtech weapons have 'uranium' weapon mod allowing to deal X-ray damage, sometimes even in damage over time form. Hightech weapons also can have this option, but fire versions are more common.

Defense

• Resist skill: Resist xray
• STR-based armors: Fesilicon, Ionic cotton
• INT-based armors: Energyfield belt, Ionic nylon, Holographic projection suit
• PSI-based armors: Crahn spirit, Argentiferrous Lead
• PSI shield: Absorber
• Nanites: Cryton Mixed PR-Absorption Nanites , Cryton ProRadiation Nanites
