Force

Overview

Force is one of the 6 primary damage types within Neocron, mostly associated with explosives and melee weapons.

PvE considerations

Mob Force damage is somewhat rare, but when it happens, it's usually high damage AOE explosion.

PvP considerations

Force damage weapons are usually AoE, unsuited for fast-paced pvp duels. It's also easier to cap due to bone implants and all types of armor having some force resist. This damage type is a domain of lowtech weapons, but some hightech weaponry can be modded for it.

• Kami, missile and rocket drones
• PSI Attack module
• Speedbike and Trike gunner seat rocket weapon
• Glider and Hoverbomber bomber seat bomb weapon

Weapon modding

Most of lowtech weaponry has access to 'explosive' ammo that will deal Force damage, but some hightech weapons like Fusion family can be modded for it too.

Defense

• Resist skill: Resist force
• STR-based armor: all types, Duranium and Battle having the best values
• INT-based armor: all types, Deflector belt having the best values
• PSI-based armor: all types
• PSI shield: Deflector
• Powered Armour: all types except Genotoxic
