Hey delphi, what exactly do you have in mind as what it would be I would do as a "leader" of the mapping project? I mean, I don't have anything like the time you and brammers seem to spend on the wiki, the last 2 weeks were my holiday period, and while I have some more, my gf now has holiday too so I won't be able to do nearly as much. Maybe I reacted too quickly, and probably reacted strangely as most people would gladly take the "prestige" of being a "leader", but I've had too many kinds of these for too long to do things that I can't take seriously enough. I've yet to contribute directly to the mapping effort at all and I don't even know how to add points on the map and stuff like that. Ok Delphi, the THN web server is now able to offer PHP5, which means you can run the latest features in that release! If you do want the latest release, the IP will change very slighly, as the PHP4 and PHP5 installs run on seperate Apache instances. Delphi, could you possibly update [[Neocron Wiki:List of templates|this]] list with all the current templates? Such as NPCBox or Mission template etc. I find myself searching for templates with no obvious way of finding them easily and i find that list really useful.

What I do think will be a good idea is to have a template saying something like "This page has missing icons - the THN admin team will update them soon." that anyone can use to flag up pages with items that don't have icons in them. Then the THN team with access to the Item DB can easily update the items.

Mapping project

LOM Pills

Ok, I've not installed the Latex software on the server, thats going to take bit of work, and also I'm going to have to clear it with the rest of the of the server admins.

MediaWiki 1.13

Item DB tags in templates

So far, I've noticed they are registering, but not posting. The anti-bot signup seems to be working for most cases, but I suspect humans are involved here.

The long term solution is this.

  2. Clean up the inactive users here.
  3. Migrate and use the THN forums as the authenication source for users. (Like we did with the Prophecy Network)
