Because poison mobs are not universal, Poison Resistance is not as important as, say, fire resistance, or force resistance, however the rareness of high poison resist means that it can be effective for a PvP weapon.  Typically either [[X-ray]] or Poison resist will be the lowest resist a player has.  Your choice of which is a personal one but should be influenced by how frequent your trips to areas where poison mobs are found.

Dmg poison.png Poison is one of the 6 primary damage types within Neocron, dealt mostly by wild animals and PSI attacks.

PvE considerations

Poison damage is most commonly seen in Swamp area, but a lot of animals and dungeon mobs can do poison damage. Mob poison damage often inflicts stacks of Poisoned negative effect, dealing poison damage over time.

PvP considerations

Native poison damage is very rare, mostly seen from APU PSI attacks. Some lowtech weaponry can be modded to deal poison damage as a subtype. Without APU around, Poison resist has the lowest priority for capping.
