This is the ability to construct/build an item from a blueprint using various established component parts. The result can be a piece of Armour, a Weapon, or even a Vehicle. Construction skill also allows installing mods or ammo converters to weapons that have special slots that can be added randomly when constructing an item. Constructor can also reinforce an Outpost by installing various automatic turrets.

This is an ability that allows augmenting yourself or others with various implants, main sources of additional skills or stats. In case of missing dedicated PPU, Implant skill also allows to use nanite injectors that can substitute PSI skills. To install higher TL implants, you'll need a higher TL tool and some Implant Disinfection Gel

Recycle

Cryton RD-TL30 Recycling Device

Recycling allows you to convert miscellaneous, usually worthless items of junk, into usable items. The Recycling skill is performed with the use of a Recycling tool and the required Junk. Junk can be found in the loot from a kill or crates/bins scattered around the world. Certain items can be recycled by placing specific junk in the processor, like Lazar Rifle or Trophies. Placing 2 the same weapon parts results in one part that is one tier higher, for example two Tangent Weaponpart 7 produces Tangent Weaponpart 8 . Finally placing a consumable item, like ammo or medkits and a junk consumes the junk to clone the consumable.

Repair skill indicates the ability to restore the Condition of used items. Every repair degrades the maximum condition items have so it's best to do it when the item breaks or is about to break to minimize the loss of maximum condition. Low-skilled repairs degrade the item faster, till it's unusable forever. Remote repair tool also allows repairing vehicles without recalling them to ASG. Higher TL items require higher TL tool and Repair Lube

Research

Empty Datacube

Researching analyses the item to store it's blueprint for Constructing into Empty Datacube . You can research almost every useable item, from simple chemicals to weapons, vehicles and weapon parts. Higher TL items require higher TL tool and pack of Research Substance . Low skilled research may lead to loss of datacube or in worst case scenario the researched item. Skilled scientist can indentify Rare Part that are be used to construct rare weapons, such as Redeemer

Salvage

Salvaging process is the opposite of Constructing. Allows to break item apart and get some of the components back.

Hacking

Cryton HT-TL30 Hacktool

Hacking allows to get access to locked areas, containers or accessing Hacknet. Majority of robotic enemies such as Warbots cannot be looted without hacking their bodies. Hacking also allows for theoretically free travel across Uplinks in the game world and it's essential skill for capturing the Outposts, main pvp activity in the game. Hacking is half trade, half combat skill.

Barter

Experimental Barter CPU

Barter skill passively reduces the vendor NPC prices and increases the value of your items when selling. Not needed that often, unless you plan to buy supplies in bulk or need to access the Black Market.
