PvE considerations

Piercing damage is a very common damage type. Most of mobs doing bite or melee attacks will do piercing damage, as well as any enemy wielding a physical bullet weapon. Early levels in the city will consist mostly of this damage type.

PvP considerations

All bullet-based low-tech weapons do piercing damage. Popular and powerful Wisdom of Ceres weapons are also doing this damage type, making it one of the most important resistances in the game.
